Vel Tino

Vel brings more than 40 years of experience in customer and client servicing to his role at First Down Financial. Since joining the team in 2014, he has been a dedicated liaison between carriers and clients, ensuring their service goals are met with precision and care. His background includes roles such as assistant city manager and operations manager, where he honed his problem-solving skills. He holds an administration of justice certificate and a corporate certificate in city management training.

Outside of work, Vel enjoys sports and spending time with his tight-knit family in Chuluota, Florida, where he lives with his wife, Nicole, their children, and their beloved springer spaniel.
